Despite the government lowering the prices of soybean oil and palm oil, consumers have yet to see any relief as traders have not reduced prices accordingly. The newly set prices for soybean oil have dropped by Tk10 per liter for bottled oil and Tk8 per liter for loose oil, but these reductions have not been implemented by traders in the market. Additionally, the prices of green chili, tomatoes, and onions have increased, while the prices of other vegetables, chicken, eggs, and ginger have remained relatively stable or decreased.
