In Akmola Region, the implementation of an investment project to create a meat cluster in the village of Torgay, Ereymentau District, continues. Within the framework of the project, 4,300 heads of Kalmyk breed breeding cattle have already been brought to the region. All imported livestock have undergone the necessary veterinary procedures and have been placed under veterinary supervision. This was reported by the press service of the regional akimiat. As explained by the akimiat, the implementation of the meat cluster is aimed at forming a sustainable production chain — from breeding breeding cattle to fattening and selling high-quality beef.
