On July 3rd, Anxian County in Ziyang City held a signing ceremony for the Mixue Ice Cream Lemon Supply Chain Center Construction Project with Mixue Ice Cream & Tea Co., Ltd.
According to the introduction, the supply chain center construction project has a total investment of approximately 150 million yuan, with a planned construction period of 18 months. It will create around 30,000 mu of high-standard lemon demonstration direct supply bases and build a 20,000-ton cold chain warehousing and sorting center. The project is invested by Mixue Ice Cream & Tea Co., Ltd., with its subsidiary Snow King Agriculture (Sichuan) Co., Ltd. responsible for operations and management. After completion and production, the project is expected to process over 20,000 tons of fresh lemons annually, achieving an annual output value of approximately 200 million yuan.
This summer, lemon prices have risen sharply, with some varieties increasing 3 to 5 times compared to the same period last year, and lemon prices in Anxian, Sichuan, and other areas experiencing significant fluctuations. Anxian, Sichuan's yellow lemons are the core raw material source for Mixue's "Fresh Lemon Water," with Mixue directly collaborating with local orchards and purchasing nearly 50% of Anxian's total production.
In 2023 and 2024, Mixue's lemon water sales exceeded 1 billion cups. Market analysts estimate that this year's sales will be around 1.3 to 1.4 billion cups. With yellow lemon prices remaining high, Mixue has further strengthened its supply chain by investing in a new supply chain center in collaboration with Anxian County.
