Tomatoes became cheaper everywhere, and cucumbers only in some countries. Market Watch for Week 34 of 2020

This week of the current year ended with the next changes in the market situation in the segment of greenhouse vegetables in the region. If for some items by the end of the reporting period, there were uniform price trends that were established in most of the analyzed countries of the EastFruit monitoring region, then for others, the trends were divided. The analysts of the project noted a widespread reduction in prices in the markets of the countries of the region of the round red greenhouse tomato, and by the end of the reporting period the prices for these products remained unchanged only in Belarus. According to experts, several significant factors at once provoked a further decline in prices for greenhouse tomatoes in the analyzed region. According to the producers, the supply of tomatoes on the market grew both due to an increase in samples in greenhouse plants, and due to the presence of fairly large volumes of products from open ground.
