Industry leaders continue to increase processing and strengthen their influence on the country's dairy market
The total revenue of the top 30 milk processors in 2024 reached 1.02 trillion rubles, which corresponds to approximately half of the Russian dairy product market. In total, these companies processed over 20 million tons of milk — more than 60% of the total volume, according to the annual ranking of the largest processors prepared by Soyuzmoloko, Streda Consulting, and Milknews.
As noted by Streda Consulting CEO Alexey Gruzdev, the ranking results for the past year confirm the accelerated development of industry leaders and the ongoing market transformation: "The market is becoming increasingly structured, and revenue growth and raw material processing volumes are concentrated among ambitious companies focused on creating high added value for consumers. The industry confidently continues to move towards consolidation, increased efficiency, and deeper segmentation in all categories."
