Colombian Agricultural Institute: Towards the end of 2020, the number of farms certified in BPG grows

According to the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA), between July and October 170 farms were certified in Good Livestock Practices (BPG), after which the total number of accreditations rose to 1622, including all types of livestock production. The entity published the number of certified farms in BPG with cut-off as of October 31, but unlike the last update, this time it distinguished between bovine meat or milk productions, as well as meat or milk buffalo. In total, up to that date, 1,622 cattle farms were accredited, of which 1,125 correspond to cattle farms and two are buffalo cattle.
