From October 1, 2020, to January 7, 2021, Tunisia's date exports saw a decline, exporting 35,135 tons compared to the previous year's 38,167 tons. This decrease is primarily due to the impact of the Moroccan and Libyan markets. The export period to Morocco was delayed by two months, and the border with Libya was closed due to the new crown epidemic, resulting in a significant reduction in date exports to Libya. Overall, the exports generated revenue of 241 million dinars.
