Turkey announced the prices for the purchase of shelled hazelnuts for the 2025-2026 season

The Agricultural Products Service (Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi - TMO), subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey, has set the prices for the purchase of hazelnuts with shells for the 2025-2026 season.

The prices for the purchase of hazelnuts with shells for the 2025-2026 season have been set at 200 liras (5.63 €/kg) per kilogram for "Giresun" quality and 195 liras (5.49 €/kg) per kilogram for "Levant" quality, based on a 50% nut content.

For high-quality hazelnuts (for every 1% above 50% content), an additional price of 4 liras (0.11 €) per kilogram for "Giresun" quality and 3.90 liras (0.11 €) per kilogram for "Levant" quality will be given.

The purchase of hazelnuts with shells will begin on August 25, and as in previous years, it will be carried out by pre-arranged appointments.

To avoid problems with the moisture content of the hazelnuts, it is recommended that they dry their production well before handing it over.
