In 2022, Russia's Tambov region saw a significant increase in the export of wheat bran, with over 90 thousand tons exported, marking a sixfold increase from the previous year. The majority of this wheat bran was exported to Turkey. The region, which harvested over 2.9 million tons of wheat in 2022, is supported by state measures that contributed 2.3 billion rubles to its agricultural producers. With a focus on food security and economic growth, the region plans to introduce new support measures for agriculture.
