Germany led the market, with purchases totaling 70 thousand 543 tons valued at $472 million 264 thousand dollars, closely followed by Italy and France with exports valued at $388 million 761 thousand dollars and $148 million 975 thousand dollars respectively. Nepal, Gambia, and Sierra Leone were the countries with the smallest purchases. China's market showed significant growth, with imports increasing from 8 thousand 938 tons in the previous season to 9 thousand 875 tons. The European market, particularly Germany, Italy, and France, was the largest consumer of Turkey's hazelnut production during this period, solidifying its position as the primary export destination.
