Turkey plans to become the world’s largest pasta exporter

Turkey plans to increase pasta production and become the world’s largest pasta exporter, said Namik Kemal Parlak, editor-in-chief of Miller Magazine. The global pasta market size was 4.864 million tons or $6.537 billion as of 2023. The largest global importers of pasta products are the US, Germany, France, UK and Japan, said Namik Kemal Parlak. Miller Magazine estimates Turkey’s pasta exports to grow to 1.458 million tons in 2024. In 2025, it is expected to export 1.5 million tons.
