The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) anticipates that 1,330,000 units will be sold through corporate sales and supermarkets as frozen whole processed turkey, while 314,000 units will be sold as live turkey in poultry distribution centers. National turkey production is expected to rise by 4.7% to 3,889,000 units, resulting in a volume of 32,993 tons. Additionally, turkey meat imports are predicted to decrease by -21.9% in 2024, primarily from Chile, the United States, and Brazil.
