Turkey's anchovy exports reached 2,288 tons across 20 countries in 10 months, generating $12.3 million, marking a 14% increase in quantity and a 10% rise in value from the previous year. France, Belgium, and the USA were the primary buyers, with new markets emerging in the Netherlands and Dubai. Saffet Kalyoncu, Chairman of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters' Association, highlighted the rising demand for processed anchovies and expects further export growth as cooler weather boosts anchovy availability.
