Exports of fish oil and flour from Turkey have increased by 57 percent in the first 10 months of the year compared to the same period last year, reaching $45.37 million. The highest foreign sales were to Peru, France, and Norway. The export of 5,707 tons of fish oil and flour to Peru brought in a profit of $11.11 million, a 829 percent increase in amount and 807 percent in value compared to the previous year. Ismail Kobya, a board member of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association (DKİB), believes that flour export will provide more added value to the country in the future.
