A report from the Çilek E-Workshop, held in collaboration with various organizations and attended by participants from several countries, highlights the increasing global and local production of strawberries, with Turkey ranking 4th globally with a projected yield of 655 thousand tons for this year. The report emphasizes the potential for increased yield through conscious cultivation and soilless agriculture, and suggests that variety selection for export should be based on the requirements of the foreign market.
