This third meeting -led by the president of the provincial institution, David Toscano, along with the deputy for Agriculture, Livestock, Fishing and the Huelva Brand, Patricia Millán- has been a decisive advance in the roadmap marked, with the unanimous agreement by the representatives of 12 mills in the province for the creation of the Provincial Association of Olive Oil Producers of Huelva, a new entity that, once formally constituted, will be in charge of officially processing the application for the PGI before the Junta de Andalucía, competent in this procedure as the geographical scope is limited to a single Autonomous Community. During the day, the statutes of the new association were debated and approved, as well as the designation of its representative bodies.
