Uruguay's General Directorate of Farming (Digegra) and the Honorary Commission for Beekeeping Development (CHDA) have introduced two calls to support the country's beekeeping sector. The first call focuses on providing solutions for the storage of honey tanks, aiming to meet regulatory requirements and ensure honey quality. This call is targeted at beekeepers with registered extraction rooms. The second call aims to enhance productivity by supporting the incorporation of bee genetics, with co-financing available for the acquisition of efficient genetics. Both initiatives are designed to improve the quality and sustainability of Uruguayan beekeeping production.
