Uruguay: Two new calls for tenders in the beekeeping sector

The first call consists of a support plan for honey extraction and storage tanks. The beekeeping sector in Uruguay, which is constantly growing and key to the country's economy, is facing challenges in terms of storage and production. In response, the General Directorate of Farming (Digegra) and the Honorary Commission for Beekeeping Development (CHDA) have launched two calls aimed at improving the conditions of the sector, promoting innovation and competitiveness. Call 1 The first call consists of a support plan for honey extraction and storage tanks. Its objective is to find solutions to provide adequate spaces on the premises of the extraction rooms, in order to store honey tanks in compliance with the regulations established in Decree 29/006 and its complementary standards. In addition, it seeks to preserve the structure of the tanks and maintain the safety of the honey, thus guaranteeing the quality of honey.
