In January 2024, the Tyumen region saw a significant increase in agricultural seed exports to Kazakhstan, with 11 batches totaling 184 tons. The majority of the shipment consisted of 178 tons of soft wheat seeds, with the remaining 6 tons being peas. All exported products met Kazakhstan's phytosanitary requirements, having undergone strict laboratory control. This surge in exports reflects the high quality of Tyumen's seed material and the beneficial effects of agricultural cooperation on the agricultural development of both regions.
