Udmurtia, a Russian republic, is planning to increase its agricultural exports tenfold to $5 million in 2020, up from $2.7 million in 2019. The republic has seen a 32% increase in agricultural and food exports abroad since the start of 2020, reaching $1.85 million in June 2020. The main exports include dairy products, pork meat, flour, confectionery products, flax seeds, potatoes, and vegan products. However, many producers face challenges in entering foreign markets due to the lack of certification readiness. To support exports, the republic will provide grants for the organization of export production and subsidies for costs incurred in normalizing the area.
