President Museveni commissioned 203 new officers into the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF), urging them to prioritize education, discipline, and corruption prevention. During the ceremony, Museveni also emphasized the need for large-scale farming, crop diversification, and alternative income sources like poultry and fish farming. The event celebrated regional cooperation, recognized outstanding students, and highlighted the UPDF's efforts in balancing modernization, professionalism, and agricultural development in Uganda.
