Researchers at the University of Indonesia's Riyanto Faculty of Economics and Business forecast a significant increase in agricultural exports as the global market recovers from the Covid-19 pandemic. This recovery is anticipated to benefit various agricultural commodities, including plantation products, rice, processed coffee, and livestock. However, the pandemic has negatively impacted coffee exports to America and Europe. To mitigate this, the Ministry of Agriculture and the agro industry are encouraged to strive for a 30% increase in exports. Preliminary data shows an 12.66% increase in agricultural exports year-on-year, contributing to a total export value of 53.95 billion USD.
