The UK Department of Agriculture has reported significant increases in the gross harvest of both wheat and rapeseed compared to the previous year. Wheat harvest has risen by 11% to 15.5 million tons, largely due to a 10% increase in yield. On the other hand, the rapeseed harvest has seen a 39% increase, reaching 1.4 million tons, driven by a 17% rise in yield and an 18% expansion in sown area. These findings were highlighted by the Grain On-Line agency.
