Ukraine has seen a 7% increase in soybean harvest over the past year, with 3.7 million tons harvested from over 1.5 million hectares of land, as reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. The country has also certified 17.5% of its total soybean production as sustainable, non-genetically modified soybeans, in line with the standards of the 'Danube Soya' Association. This achievement is attributed to the Protein Partnership Program, which supports the production of non-GM soybeans. The country is a significant supplier of soybeans to Europe, contributing to the continent's protein supplies.
