Ukraine's corn starch exports have seen a 14% decrease since the start of the 2020/21 marketing year, with August deliveries falling by 42% and 8% compared to the previous month and year, respectively. The main importer, Indonesia, has reduced its purchases by 34%. Other countries such as the UAE, Malaysia, and Taiwan also decreased their imports, while the EU, China, and Thailand have increased their purchases. Nigeria has emerged as a new significant buyer, placing fourth on the list of the top importers of Ukrainian starch.
