Ukraine has imposed restrictions on the import of goods from the United States due to outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza, according to the State Food and Consumer Service of Ukraine and the Center for Public Health. The ban includes hatching eggs, poultry, poultry products (except for those treated to destroy the pathogen), food of animal origin, feed, and by-products of animal origin. This comes after Ukraine set a record in poultry meat exports in 2021.
