From January to May 2021, Ukraine saw a 22% increase in its export of fish and aquatic biological resources, reaching a total of $ 17.3 million with a supply of 4.4 thousand tons. The main importers were Germany, Denmark, and Moldova, with Germany being the highest buyer in both value and volume. Other significant recipients included Lithuania, Israel, and the Netherlands. The majority of the exports consisted of finished or canned fish, followed by fillets, shellfish, and frozen fish.
