This was reported by UNIAN by Yuriy Duchenko, the first vice president of the All-Ukrainian Association of Bakers. "Quality flour is impossible without 2nd class grain. Since agricultural producers are reluctant to offer it on the domestic market, milling enterprises cannot always form sufficient batches. Therefore, the price of flour does not decrease even during the harvest period," Duchenko said. Today, a ton of the highest grade wheat flour costs about 15 thousand UAH, and the first grade costs 14.5 thousand UAH. By the end of the year, the price may increase by another 2 thousand UAH.
