Ukrainian animal husbandry: How the war affected the industry and what are the ways out of the crisis

This was discussed at the international conference within the framework of the EuroTier 2022 exhibition on the topic: "The struggle for the existence of Ukrainian livestock farming". First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotsky noted that the industry is going through difficult times, but demonstrates resilience in the face of unforeseen challenges, is recovering and is strengthening international cooperation with EU countries, in particular with Germany, which is a long-standing partner of Ukraine. "With the beginning of the Russian invasion, we felt even more that Germany is a great friend of Ukraine and is ready to cooperate in various fields, including animal husbandry. The industry is showing resilience. There is some decline, but it cannot be compared to the challenges that war brought.
