Ukrainian farmers have achieved a record export of soybeans, with a volume of 1.9 million tons this season, marking the highest in the past three years and a 13% share of the total EU soybean import. The European Union imported 51% of the total production, making Ukraine the third largest supplier behind Brazil, with 981 tons sold to European countries, a record high. The reduction in sown crops in 2022, which saw a third less compared to the previous year, led to a record harvest of soybeans, along with corn, sunflower oil, and wheat, which became the leaders in Ukrainian exports.
