United Arab Emirates and Lebanon open markets for Brazil's quail and black beans

Brazil will be able to export quail to the United Arab Emirates and black beans to Lebanon, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed in a joint statement. The market openings were formalized after the conclusion of sanitary and phytosanitary negotiations between the countries.

The approval for exporting quail to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is valid for the trade of birds intended for animal feed.

Brazil exported $3.3 billion in agribusiness products to the United Arab Emirates in 2024, making it the 6th main destination for Brazilian agribusiness.

In Lebanon, the sanitary authorities authorized Brazil to export black beans. Brazil exported over $432 million in agribusiness products to Lebanon in the last year, with highlights including meats, products from the sugar and alcohol and soybean complexes.

This year, the country has accumulated 188 market openings for national agribusiness products.
