Updated prices for live pigs in Ukraine have been announced

At the beginning of October, purchase prices showed relative constancy, as most commodity consignments were sold this week at previous prices. This was reported by the Association of Pig Farmers of Ukraine, writes agronews.ua. In the first week of October, the selling prices of pigs for slaughter conditions ranged from 48-50 UAH / kg. For most suppliers, quotes remained at the level of the previous week. Occasionally there was a slight negative fluctuation (minus 0.15-0.5 UAH / kg), which moved the lower limit of the price corridor to 48 UAH / kg. However, there was no significant impact on the average market price: the indicator decreased by less than half a percent compared to the previous week and remains closer to the higher price mark - 49.1 UAH / kg.
