In the first quarter of 2026, Uruguay's beef exports reached 125,041 tons, a decrease of 9.7% compared to the volume obtained in the same period of 2025, according to information from the National Meat Institute (INAC). The revenue generated in the first three months of the year totaled US$ 688.4 million, with an average value of US$ 5,506 per exported ton, an increase of 16.9% over the average price recorded in the same period of the previous year.
