In July 2022, the U.S. cocoa butter import price per ton decreased by 5.2% to $4,511, reflecting a slight decline over the previous months with the most significant increase seen in February at $4,970 per ton. Despite the overall decrease in prices, the total imports showed a modest growth of 3.5% per month from January 2022 to July 2022, with Malaysia, Indonesia, and Ghana being the main suppliers. The value of imports peaked at $59 million in June 2022 before experiencing a decrease in July. Malaysia showed the highest growth rate both in volume and value of imports during the period under review.
