Mexico continues to be the largest supplier, accounting for more than half of the imports, followed by Germany, Russia, and China. The imports of avocados, mangoes, and berries have seen the most significant growth in the past five years. Peru has surpassed Chile as the second-largest supplier of grapes and is also a major supplier of asparagus, blueberries, mangoes, and ginger. Chile's total fruit and vegetable exports to the US have seen a decline for the second year in a row. Canada is a significant supplier of greenhouse vegetables to the US, and the import of Chinese ginger and garlic has remained steady, while the import of Dutch bell peppers has significantly decreased.
