In April, the United States saw a slight increase in beef and offal exports, reaching a volume of 111,580 tons and a value of $898.7 million, the highest since June 2023. This growth was evident in several Western Hemisphere markets, including Mexico, Japan, and the Middle East. Despite a slight decrease in volume, the value of beef exports for the first four months of 2024 increased by 5% to $3,015 million. Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and the Middle East have been major contributors to this growth, with U.S. beef continuing to dominate in Korea and Taiwan.
