US milling industry outlook stable, NAMA president says

Total flour production in the 2025 second quarter came in at 102.912 million cwts, down 2% from 105.377 million cwts in the 2025 first quarter and down 2% from 104.908 million cwts in the 2024 second quarter. “One of the things I’ve seen with the members is that they can work their way through volatility and changes in demand,” DeMarchi said. “They’re an amazingly resilient industry.
