Empresas San Clemente inaugurated one of the most advanced fruit processing plants in the La Araucanía Region of Chile, setting a new standard for the industry. The project, which involves an investment of US$25 million, expands the plant to over 37,000 m² and increases its processing capacity from 80,000 to 150,000 bins per season, which is equivalent to 2.7 million boxes and up to 60,000 tons annually. The new infrastructure—inaugurated alongside regional authorities and representatives of the fruit sector—integrates processes that operate continuously and in real time, from fruit selection to storage and dispatch, ensuring consistent standards for increasingly demanding international markets.
