The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in its latest report forecasts that in the 2025/26 marketing year, sugar production in Ukraine will amount to 1.49 million tons. This figure has remained unchanged compared to the May forecast, but will still be 310,000 tons less than in the 2024/25 season, reports "ProAgro Group". The export of Ukrainian sugar is expected to be 701,000 tons, which is 1,000 tons more than the May estimate. Final stocks are projected to be 679,000 tons, unchanged from the previous estimate. Regarding global trends, USDA experts forecast global sugar production at 189,259 million tons, which is 59,000 tons less than the previous estimate. The volume of global trade is estimated at 66 million tons, which is 770,000 tons more.
