Ukraine: Milk prices of all grades rose for the first time in months

The price forecast for Class 3 milk in 2023 increased significantly compared to the previous month, by 85 cents to $16.90 per 100 pounds (50.8 kg). Prices for Class 4 milk also jumped by 30 cents to $18.50 per 100 pounds (50.8 kg). The average weighted price for raw milk of all classes increased by 40 cents to $19.95 per 100 pounds (50.8 kg). Prices for butter also increased by 6 cents in 2023 to $5.50 per kg and by 8 cents in 2024 to $5.40 per kg. Price forecasts for whey in 2023 were lowered due to weak global demand. The price of collected dry milk slightly increased, and cheese prices rose by 10 cents to $3.90 per kg.
