US: USDA reports lower-than-expected weekly soybean and wheat shipments; corn exceeds expectations

The USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) brought its new weekly shipment numbers this Monday (6), with higher-than-expected data for corn, but below in the case of soybeans and wheat. In the week ended March 2, the US shipped 899,910 tons of corn, while expectations ranged from 450,000 to 750,000 tons. In the entire commercial year, the volume shipped was 15,284,666 million tons, 38% less than a year ago. Of soybeans, weekly shipments were 542,238 thousand tons, while the market expected something between 625 thousand and 1.3 million tons.
