Uzbekistan: cauliflower and broccoli export season started at last year's levels

From the first ten days of October this year, the export season for cauliflower and broccoli started in Uzbekistan, approximately at the same time as last year. In the first month of the season, the volume of exports of these products was almost the same as in the same period last year, EastFruit experts note. According to preliminary trade statistics, in October 2023, Uzbekistan exported 1,680 tons of cauliflower and broccoli worth $1.2 million, while in the same period last year, exports of these products amounted to 1,663 tons worth $1.3 million. Cauliflower and broccoli are among the country's fastest growing exports in the segment of fresh fruits and vegetables.
