Uzbekistan is sowing cotton and soybean seeds

At present, cotton and soybean seeds are being sown in all regions of the country. For the 2022 harvest, it is planned to sow cotton seeds in a total of 1,034,223 hectares across the country. At the same time, about 9 thousand seeders are used in the cotton fields. More than 2,500 sowing teams work in all clusters across the country. As for soybeans, it is planned to sow 146.5 thousand hectares of land in the republic for the 2022 harvest, in particular, 82.5 thousand hectares in open areas and 64.0 thousand hectares in cotton inter-row spacing. In total, 181.4 thousand tons of soybeans are expected to be grown from these areas: 146.2 thousand tons from open areas and 35.2 thousand tons from cotton fields. The projected crop will produce 36,000 tons of vegetable oil and 136,000 tons of soybean meal. Soybean meal will be sent to 38 million industrial poultry.
