Uzbekistan updated its record for the export of peach and nectarine

However, despite this, the volume of peach and nectarine exports from Uzbekistan this season has already exceeded the record level of 2020, EastFruit analysts note. This year, the export season of Uzbek peach/nectarine started in the third ten days of May. According to preliminary trade statistics, for four months from the beginning of the season - from May 21 to September 20, 2023, Uzbekistan exported 82.5 thousand tons of peaches and nectarines for a total amount of $62.7 million, which in physical terms is several hundred tons more than the record figure of 2020. For comparison, at the end of the 2020 season, Uzbekistan exported 82.2 thousand tons of these products for a total amount of $61.3 million, which then became a historical record.
