VAT to be introduced for livestock breeding in Russia from 2025

The Ministry of Agriculture has prepared a draft government resolution, according to which VAT on livestock products of breeding stock will be introduced in Russia starting next year at a rate of 10 percent. The corresponding document has been published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts. This tax rate will be applied to adult cattle, calves, purebred sheep, goats and breeding pigs, live farm poultry and breeding freshwater fish.
