Vegetable and fruit prices dropped today, Thursday 12-6-2025, with tomato prices ranging from 8.5 pounds to 14 pounds, onions from 12 to 16 pounds, eggplant from 6.5 to 10, potatoes from 5 to 10 pounds, local cucumber from 5 to 10 pounds, pepper at 16 pounds, okra at 60 pounds, and colored peppers at 20 pounds. Vegetable Prices at Al-Obour Market Traders added that a crate of tomatoes at Al-Obour market ranges from 120 pounds to 180 pounds, pepper at 8 pounds, lemon at 40 pounds, zucchini at 7 pounds, cucumber at 10 pounds, and Roman eggplant from 2 to 18 pounds. Traders said that the price of Capucha lettuce is 3.5 to 7.5 pounds per unit for consumers, broccoli at 15 pounds, red cabbage at 12, white cabbage at 20 pounds, and molokhia at 20 pounds per kilo.
