The price per kilo for various vegetables including tomatoes, onions, zucchini, carrots, beans, eggplant, pepper, molokhia, cucumber, and lemon, ranged between 3 and 15 pounds. The Head of the Central Administration for Agricultural Crops, Engineer Mahmoud Fawzy Atta, stated that the Egyptian government is providing support to farmers through soft loans, easing greenhouse licensing procedures, and offering services to mitigate the effects of climate change on crops.
