The market survey of vegetables and fruits wholesale market

The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries of Japan reported a decrease in the amount of certain vegetables and fruits received, leading to an 11% drop in the wholesale market to 1,978.4 billion yen. This was largely due to a decrease in prices for cabbage, carrots, and radish. While the wholesale prices for other crops such as daikon, hakusai, and cabbage also increased by 4% or more, the overall decrease in prices outweighed the increases.
