Peru: Vendors will seek a meeting with San Fernando and Rico Pollo poultry companies due to the rise in the price of chicken in Arequipa

The price of chicken in Arequipa again registered an increase of approximately S/0.40. This Wednesday, March 15, the bird was quoted between S/ 11.90 and S/ 12 in the different markets of the Andrés Avelino Cáceres platform, located in the José Luis Bustamante y Rivero district. This situation worries both sellers and buyers, according to the representative of the Nueva Esperanza market, Jhazmani Callo. The leader said that, faced with this situation, next Monday the chicken vendors of the entire Andrés Avelino Cáceres platform will have a meeting.
