Dutch wine producers have harvested a record 9,800 hectoliters of grapes for 2022, surpassing the 2018 record due to warm summer weather and ample sunshine, despite potential losses from late summer rain. The quality of the grapes is reportedly excellent, with most being used for white wines, and a quarter for rosé and red wines. There are around 165 commercial vineyards in the Netherlands, covering 275 hectares, primarily in Gelderland and Limburg.
