According to the company, the first to import SAF on a commercial scale in the country, the biofuel will be used in two daily flights starting in November, one from Gol and another from Latam. At the Salvador Airport, a mixture composed of 10% pure SAF and 90% fossil fuel will be used, which will allow passengers to board flights with fewer CO2 emissions. "This is the largest blend with pure SAF ever used in Brazilian aviation refueling.
